Wonwoo And Fanciulli Dominate The RS:X In Zadar

ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship 2011 Zadar, Croatia

Italian RS:X Girl Veronica Fanciulli and Korean RS:X Boy Cho Wonwoo have set their stool out early at the 41st ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship in Zadar, Croatia by winning two out of three races each and coming second in the other.

제 41회 ISAF 청소년세계요트선수권대회(크로아티아)에서 RS:X girls 이탈리아 Fanciulli, RS:X boys 한국 조원우선수가 3개 레이스 중 2개 레이스에서 선두를 지키고 있다. 

Cho Wonwoo (KOR) also enjoyed a successful day in the RS:X Boys winning both of his races to lead the 34 strong fleet. He has a seven point advantage over Louis Giard (FRA) who finished fifth in both races today to sit on 11 points. 또한, 조원우 선수는 강한 RS:X 34척을 이기고 성공적인 대회를 즐거워했다. 그는 5등으로 들어온 Louis Giard 선수와(11점) 7점 차이가 난다. 

On his day Wonwoo said, "I have trained very hard over the last year for this event. There was a lot of pumping out there today due to the light winds." “나는 이 대회를 위해 작년 힘든 트레이닝을 받았다. 오늘 약한바람 때문에 많은 펌핑을 했다. ”고 조원수 선수가 말했다.


Racing begins at 12:00 local time tomorrow and two races in each fleet are scheduled before a rest day on Tuesday.
